The E&M Donates Recovery Funds and Supplies for Electric Vehicle Fire Damage in Cheongna, Incheon

THE E&M announced on the 12th that it donated 10 million KRW in relief funds to the Community Chest of Korea for the victims of the Cheongna apartment affected by the electric vehicle fire, and simultaneously donated 540 nasal mucosa protection sprays through the Korean Red Cross.

The company stated that, in order to help the apartment victims affected by the electric vehicle fire that occurred on the 1st, it decided to extend a helping hand by donating funds and nasal mucosa protection medical devices from its subsidiary, Luca AI Cell.

On the 1st, an electric vehicle fire broke out in the underground parking lot. Although electricity and water are being restored, about 600 residents are still staying in around 10 temporary shelters. Relief supplies prepared by the Incheon branch of the Korean Red Cross and others have been provided, and support continues from both public and private sectors, but various inconveniences are still ongoing.

With the recent resurgence of COVID-19 and frequent visits by many people including volunteers, the evacuees in shelters are exposed to respiratory diseases. To support the respiratory health of the residents, the company donated nasal sprays that protect the nasal mucosa from its subsidiary Luca AI Cell.

Shin Hwan-ryul, CEO of THE E&M, said, “We decided to donate with a sincere hope that it would help the residents recover from the damage in this prolonged restoration situation.”
