"Stay Strong, Yeongyang County"... Donation Campaign for Neighbors Continues

A series of donations from organizations and companies continues to support flood recovery efforts and help neighbors in need in Yeongyang-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, which was recently affected by heavy rainfall.

"Stay Strong, Yeongyang County"... Donation Campaign for Neighbors Continues The Korea Senior Citizens Association Yeongyang County Branch voluntarily donated 12.03 million won to aid flood recovery and help neighbors in need.

On the 12th, the Yeongyang-gun branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association (President: An Jaebeom) donated 12,030,000 KRW, which was voluntarily collected by members of 184 senior centers in six towns and villages to aid local flood recovery and support those in need.


President An Jaebeom said, "I am grateful to the members of the Senior Citizens Association who took the lead in helping during difficult times in the community. We will continue to strive to be an association that can support what the residents of Yeongyang-gun need."


The Yeongyang-gun branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association has been continuously engaging in sharing activities for neighbors in need, such as voluntarily collecting donations every year and contributing to the Yeongyang-gun Talent Development Scholarship Foundation and the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.


In addition, Jinsolution (CEO: Kim Junyeon) also donated 20,000,000 KRW to support flood victims and neighbors in need in Ippam-myeon and Cheonggi-myeon, which were declared special disaster areas due to the heavy rainfall.


Kim Junyeon, CEO of Jinsolution and a native of Cheonggi-myeon, said, "I made this donation hoping it would help the struggling residents of my hometown who suffered great damage from the recent heavy rain. I offer my deepest condolences to those affected and hope this will aid in a swift recovery."


County Governor Oh Dochang said, "I sincerely thank President An Jaebeom of the Korean Senior Citizens Association and its members, as well as CEO Kim Junyeon of Jinsolution, for demonstrating positive influence out of love for their hometown. We will do our utmost to support rapid flood recovery and help neighbors in need return to their daily lives."


The donations will be used through the Yeongyang-gun Community Security Council to support the socially vulnerable and aid flood recovery efforts in the region.
