"Innovation Meeting Becomes Lee Jae-myung's Red Guards"

Additionally, he proposed the formation of a National Coalition for President Yoon Suk-yeol's term reduction constitutional amendment to all political parties.

At a press conference held on the 12th at the National Assembly Communication Office in Yeouido, Seoul, Kim presented the "Four Major Innovation Tasks for Victory in the Presidential Election," stating, "The one-man dominant 'Lee Jae-myung Democratic Party' is an obstacle that must be overcome to reclaim power." He continued, "The Democratic Party is currently in a crisis situation, where a black shadow of 'being targeted means death' dominates the party as if it were routine," criticizing that "an 'Lee Jae-myung Democratic Party' even more severe than during the party president era is being completed."

Kim pointed out that the Democratic Party can only win the presidential election by removing Gaeddal and the Innovation Council. He said, "The voices of a small number of hardline Gaeddal have taken control of the party, and the Innovation Council has become Lee's Red Guards, arrogantly lining people up in an abnormal situation," proposing innovation tasks such as mandatory education and training for party members, significant reduction of central party authority with a shift to provincial party-centered operations, and strengthening the delegate system.

Kim proposed the formation of a "National Coalition for President Yoon's Term Reduction and Constitutional Amendment" to all political parties. He argued that President Yoon's term should be shortened to hold the 2026 local elections and presidential election simultaneously. Kim stated, "I will unite all political forces that agree on a joint platform including the presidential term reduction constitutional amendment," adding, "Under this, we will create a nationwide constitutional amendment promotion committee to draft a national constitutional amendment proposal."
