Samjin Eomuk has responded to this trend by releasing a range of Chuseok holiday gift sets, from ‘practical’ to ‘premium’ types. The company has renewed the product lineup and package design, offering even more abundant gift sets.
Targeting consumers who prefer ‘value for money,’ Samjin Eomuk is offering a 2% to 10% discount by quantity bracket for bulk purchases of 20 to over 100 gift sets until the 11th of next month. The flagship value-for-money gift set, ‘Samjin Premium Set,’ has expanded its lineup and is now available as Samjin Premium Set No. 1 and Samjin Premium Set No. 2.
The Samjin Eomuk 2024 Chuseok gift sets consist of a total of six types: Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Special, Lee Geumbok Masterpiece, Samjin Premium Set No. 1, Samjin Premium Set No. 2, 1953 Set No. 1, and 1953 Set No. 2.
The premium line ‘Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Set’ is a gift set consisting of the finest eomuk, carefully selected under strict standards by Lee Geumbok, the daughter-in-law of Samjin Eomuk’s founder and a master eomuk artisan with over 30 years of experience in handmade eomuk.
The Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Special (about 3.8kg) includes Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Eomuktang, Masterpiece Sora Eomuk, Masterpiece Shrimp Eomuk, Masterpiece Squid Eomuk, Masterpiece Bar (Sausage Cheese, Shrimp Cheese), Eomuk Hotpot Sauce, White Tartar Sauce, and adds premium handmade abalone eomuk, handmade scallop eomuk, handmade shrimp eomuk, and handmade octopus eomuk made with premium ingredients, making it the highest-grade gift set among Samjin Eomuk’s offerings. This gift set will be available in a limited quantity of 1,500 units starting from the 20th.
The Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Set (about 2.8kg) contains Lee Geumbok Masterpiece Eomuktang, Masterpiece Sora Eomuk, Masterpiece Shrimp Eomuk, Masterpiece Squid Eomuk, Masterpiece Bar (Sausage Cheese, Shrimp Cheese), with special sauces to enhance the eomuk flavor, including White Tartar Sauce and Eomuk Hotpot Sauce, adding value to the product.
Samjin Premium Set No. 1 (about 2.3kg) consists of thick square eomuk with plenty of glass noodles, thick square eomuk with lots of vegetables, thick square eomuk with chive japchae, Hot Spicy Pepper Roll, Strict Rice Cake Roll Eomuk, Strict Mushroom Eomuk, Strict Vegetable Roll Eomuk, Squid Ball, Triangular Glass Noodles, Chewy Cheese Eomuk Savory Flavor, Hongdan, Special Nakyeop, and Squid Ttaengso.
Samjin Premium Set No. 2 (about 2.7kg) includes thick square eomuk with plenty of glass noodles, thick square eomuk with lots of vegetables, thick square eomuk with chive japchae, Hot Spicy Pepper Roll, Our Family Strict Rice Cake Roll Eomuk, Our Family Strict Mushroom Eomuk, Our Family Strict Vegetable Roll Eomuk, Squid Ball, Triangular Glass Noodles, Chewy Cheese Eomuk Savory Flavor, Hongdan, Special Nakyeop, Squid Ttaengso, Whole Shrimp Roll, and Boneless Bar (Vegetable, Spicy, Squid). These sets can be used as side dishes, snacks, or meal replacements. Both sets come with wasabi-flavored dipping sauce and eomuk hotpot sauce, allowing for easy preparation without additional ingredients.
The practical line includes the 1953 Set No. 1 (about 1.8kg) and 1953 Set No. 2 (about 2.3kg). The 1953 Set is a gift set containing traditional eomuk and sauces that reflect Samjin Eomuk’s long history since 1953, offering a practical price, generous portions, and a deep eomuk flavor.
1953 Set No. 1 is composed of Hongdan, One Meal Eomuktang (Mild), Vegetable Tongtong, Seafood Square, Special Angel Square, Special Nakyeop, Wasabi-flavored Dipping Sauce, and Eomuk Hotpot Sauce. 1953 Set No. 2 includes Hongdan, Triangular Glass Noodles, Vegetable Tongtong, Seafood Square, Chewy Cheese Eomuk Savory Flavor, One Meal Eomuktang (Mild), Cheon Oranda, Special Angel Square, Wasabi-flavored Dipping Sauce, and Eomuk Hotpot Sauce.
The Samjin Eomuk 2024 Chuseok holiday gift sets are available for order by phone and online until September 11. All gift sets can also be purchased in person at Samjin Eomuk’s directly managed stores nationwide, and sales may end early if production limits are reached.
