1 Year Free Warranty After Registration
On the 12th, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced the launch of the 'Woori Together Mom Preparation Safety Insurance,' a free insurance product available to any expectant mother with a Woori Bank account.
'Woori Together Mom Preparation Safety Insurance' is a mini insurance product launched following the signing of a 'Partnership Agreement for Win-Win Finance Practice and Mutual Development' between Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Woori Bank in June to overcome the low birthrate crisis.
This product is a direct insurance that allows not only healthy pregnant women but also those with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes and hypertension to easily enroll through a simplified declaration. It can be purchased additionally even if the customer already has existing insurance such as fetal insurance.
The free coverage period lasts for one year from the time of enrollment. To protect the daily life of pregnant women who need extra caution while the fetus is in the womb, it covers risks such as influenza, fractures, infectious diseases, anaphylaxis, and emergency room visits for one year. In case of a disability with 80% or more impairment due to illness, child-rearing expenses can be paid for up to 10 years.
Through the partnership with Woori Bank, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance also introduced the 'Pregnant Mother Baby Insurance Woori Plan.' This is a Woori Bank exclusive plan that offers more reasonable premiums for the existing direct pregnant mother and baby insurance, which covers pregnancy and childbirth-related diseases as well as risks after the child's birth. A pregnancy congratulatory payment of up to 30,000 KRW can also be received.
Separately, an event is being held where if a newborn child born this year opens an account at a Woori Bank branch in their name, a birth congratulatory payment of 50,000 KRW will be given.
A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance direct channel official stated, "To overcome the low birthrate crisis, we will continue to provide products that support healthy pregnancy and childbirth for expectant mothers and the health of the children to be born."
