On the 12th, LG Electronics announced that it recently signed a sponsorship agreement for the 'MMCA X LG OLED Series' exhibition with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The signing ceremony, held at the 'MMCA Seoul' in Jongno-gu, Seoul, was attended by Oh Seung-jin, Senior Vice President of Marketing for HE (Home Entertainment) and BS (Business Solutions) at LG Electronics Korea, Oh Hye-won, Senior Vice President of HE Brand Communication, and Kim Sung-hee, Director of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Starting next year, LG Electronics will participate as the title sponsor for exhibitions hosted by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art for three years. They plan to present creative works in collaboration with domestic and international artists in the 'Seoul Box,' a space spanning two floors within MMCA Seoul.

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is Korea’s representative museum, attracting over 3 million visitors annually. By showcasing LG Electronics’ display technology and artists’ creativity in the museum’s central space, it will provide a differentiated artistic experience to global visitors.

The LG OLED TV serves as a digital canvas for artworks. The LG OLED TV itself becomes part of the art. LG Electronics is conducting the 'LG OLED ART Project' to promote the innovative value unique to LG OLED TVs and to support culture and the arts.

Since 2021, LG Electronics has participated as a global partner of the world-renowned art fair 'Frieze.' Recently, it collaborated with the National Museum of the Philippines to display various artworks within the museum using OLED TVs. This has solidified the brand leadership of the 'OLED TV that inspires art and is preferred by artists.'

Senior Vice President Oh Seung-jin said, "Through the collaboration between LG OLED and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, visitors will be able to experience a special exhibition that combines art and technology."

Director Kim Sung-hee stated, "Through this collaboration, we will present projects where art and technology meet to create amazing synergy. We will continue to develop various projects to offer diverse experiences to domestic and international visitors."
