President Yoon Suk-yeol said on the 11th, "Everyone worked really hard. I am truly proud of you," to our athletes and coaches who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In a Facebook message that day, President Yoon stated, "Although the number of athletes participating was the smallest since the 1984 Olympics, Team Korea achieved an excellent result with 13 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals."
President Yoon said, "Not only the athletes who won medals but all our athletes gave their best and surpassed their limits, giving great courage and inspiration to the people," adding, "All our citizens will never forget the 17 days of the 2024 Olympics."
He continued, "Do not stop challenging yourselves. The people will vigorously support the future of Korean sports that you will lead," and added, "Team Korea fighting!"
