Unexplained Fire Breaks Out at a House in Uiryeong ... Resident in His 60s Dies

At around 5:21 a.m. on the 11th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a house in Burim-myeon, Uiryeong-gun, South Gyeongsang Province.

According to the South Gyeongsang Fire Department and Uiryeong Police Station, the fire completely destroyed a house of about 33 square meters, and a man in his 60s who lived there died.

After a neighbor reported seeing flames and smoke, the fire authorities dispatched 39 personnel and 12 pieces of equipment, extinguishing the fire completely by 6:43 a.m.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, the extent of property damage, and the cause of death of the deceased, identified as Mr. A.
