On-site Inspections and Staff Encouragement at Facility Management Corporation and Yusan Waste Landfill Site
On the 9th, Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, led by Mayor Na Dongyeon, conducted on-site inspections of major facilities such as sports, environment, and sewage management for the leisure and safety of citizens.
This on-site administration was carried out to directly receive reports on pending issues, check the operational and management status of major facilities, and discuss improvements and future directions to seek ways to enhance the welfare of citizens.
Mayor Na first visited the Facilities Management Corporation, which operates 24 facilities on consignment, to review current issues. He also inspected the facilities of Ssangbyeokru National Sports Center, scheduled to open next month, and discussed ways to vitalize its operation.
He then visited the landfill for industrial waste and the biogas facility for efficient food waste treatment, where he encouraged the on-site staff working in the heatwave and asked them to pay attention to safety accident prevention. Lastly, he inspected the Beomeo Rainwater Pumping Station to check the facility's condition in preparation for the recent increase in localized heavy rainfall.
Mayor Na Dongyeon emphasized, "Through on-site inspections, I was able to directly grasp the operational status and issues of each facility, and this has become an opportunity to take practical measures to provide better services to residents. We will continue our efforts to enhance the efficiency of facility operations and improve the quality of life for our citizens."
