A pizza shop owner expressed frustration after receiving a complaint from a takeout customer that "the pizza was tilted to one side" and then witnessing a ridiculous scene upon checking the CCTV footage.

On the 6th, a story from Mr. A, who runs a pizza shop, was posted on the self-employed online community "Apeunikka Sajangida" ("Because It Hurts, I'm the Boss"). Mr. A explained the situation: "A takeout order just came in and I sent it out. The customer's daughter came to pick it up," and "(Later) I got a call from the customer's mother saying the pizza was tilted to one side and asked what I was going to do about it." Mr. A added, "I apologized to the customer over the phone and said that since it was takeout, if they brought it back, I would give a 100% refund, but they caused a fuss saying, 'Why should I come?' and 'Just send the money.'"

He continued, "We have a policy that whether it's a delivery or takeout mistake, the food must be returned for a refund, but they threw another big tantrum," and "They insulted me saying 'The owner has no service spirit,' 'Close your shop,' and threatened, 'Do you want to get bombarded with bad reviews?'"

Mr. A said he offered to collect the food from the customer, but the customer replied, "I threw it all away," and "I'll leave a 1-star review," then abruptly hung up the phone. Indeed, a 1-star review was posted.

Feeling wronged, Mr. A checked the CCTV and couldn't hide his disbelief. The footage showed the customer who took the takeout hanging the pizza bag on one arm and walking away.

Mr. A said, "When I checked the CCTV, the customer who took the pizza was looking at their phone while carrying the pizza bag on their arm," and "In the middle, they held the pizza in one hand and the phone in the other, raised that hand above their head, and even took a selfie," expressing his astonishment.

Other self-employed people reacted to the story with comments such as, "They said they'd refund if brought back, so why all the fuss?", "Were they trying to get it for free?", "They probably spat on it," "Ask if they eat bibimbap," "Why complain about the pizza being tilted when they took it as takeout?", and "Respond according to the policy," showing a variety of responses.
