Gyeonggi Province is holding a policy proposal contest for single-person households until September 6.

Anyone nationwide, including residents of Gyeonggi Province, can visit the Gyeonggi Province Voice website (https://vog.gg.go.kr) to submit the contest application form, consent form for the collection and use of personal information, pledge, identity verification documents, and policy proposal report.

The evaluation will be conducted by a judging committee composed of experts and public officials from related departments. The proposals will be assessed based on four criteria: suitability, creativity, completeness, and applicability. The winners will be announced and awarded on December 5.

Gyeonggi Province will materialize the selected policy ideas into projects for single-person households.

Ahn Seung-man, Director of the Family Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Single-person households in Gyeonggi Province have diverse characteristics depending on region and life cycle, and face various difficulties such as housing issues, health, and social isolation. We expect to discover customized policy ideas that reflect the diverse characteristics of single-person households. Through this, we hope to contribute to improving the quality of life for single-person households and solving various problems related to housing, safety, and health."
