The North Korean delegation will visit Russia in mid-month to attend the International Military-Technical Forum. This is seen as another example of close cooperation between North Korea and Russia.
According to a report by the Russian media Sputnik on the 8th, North Korea will participate in the International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY 2024," held from the 12th to the 14th of this month at the Patriot Park in Kubinka, Moscow Oblast, Russia. The North Korean military delegation is expected to tour Russia's advanced military equipment and discuss cooperation measures at the event.
North Korea and Russia have been strengthening their cooperation since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The two countries have shown close relations on all fronts, including North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia last September and Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to North Korea this past June, where they held a North Korea-Russia summit.
