Silla University has signed a business agreement with Michangjo Lianhair to foster professionals in the hair and beauty industry.
Silla University and Michangjo Ryan Hair signed a business agreement for professional talent development.
On the 6th at 2 p.m., the signing ceremony was held in the president's reception room on the 6th floor of the Silla University main building, attended by President Heo Namsik, Chairman Yoo Sangjun of Michangjo Lianhair, and key officials from both organizations.
Through this agreement, both parties promised to cooperate on nurturing talent and creating jobs in the hair and beauty industry, as well as advancing the industry itself, by promoting mutual exchanges in academics, information, human resources, education, and facilities; participating in joint research on national research projects and providing consultation and support in industry-academia cooperation; offering benefits during technology transfer; and collaborating in other areas deemed necessary for the development of each institution.
Based on this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish practical and diverse systems, such as retraining hair designers, on-site internships, and entrepreneurship education for small business owners.
In particular, Silla University's Department of Beauty Care will conduct step-by-step level tests every year for second- and fourth-year students, helping them transition smoothly into the workforce after graduation.
Yoo Sangjun, Chairman of Michangjo Lianhair, stated, "Silla University's Department of Beauty Care is equipped with the optimal educational environment and facilities to nurture hair and beauty professionals," and added, "Lianhair will actively support the department's specialized beauty curriculum so that it can fully develop professionals in hair and beauty entrepreneurship and professional hair design."
Professor Jeon Hongshin of Silla University's Department of Beauty Care said, "This agreement is significant in that it introduces a new industry-academia cooperation education model by providing customized practical training courses and specialized hair and beauty education, in partnership with Michangjo Lianhair, a leader in advanced beauty trends."
