JLR Korea Launches Range Rover PHEV in Korea... Price Set at 187.1 Million KRW

JLR Korea launched the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in the domestic market on the 8th.

The newly introduced models are ▲Range Rover Standard Wheelbase (SWB) P550e Autobiography ▲Range Rover Sport P550e Dynamic HSE trims. They offer a pure electric driving range of 80 km based on domestic certification standards, maximizing efficiency and sustainability.

The powertrain of the Range Rover P550e plug-in hybrid combines a 3.0ℓ I6 Ingenium gasoline engine with a maximum output of 400 horsepower (PS) and a 160kW electric motor. It delivers an overwhelming performance with a system maximum output of 550PS and a maximum torque of 81.6 kg·m. The all-new Range Rover, which is over 5 meters in length, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, while the all-new Range Rover Sport, nearly 5 meters long, reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.9 seconds.

Additionally, it is equipped with a large-capacity 38.2kWh lithium-ion battery that allows driving 80 km on pure electric power according to domestic certification standards. It features a 50kW DC fast charging function that can charge up to 80% within an hour. Even with slow charging at home using a 7.2kW output, it can be fully charged in just 5 hours.

JLR Korea provides a Range Rover branded charging card to customers who purchase the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport PHEV models. Additionally, home charger installation is available for a fee upon request at the time of delivery. The issuance of the charging card and charger installation are supported through the Range Rover dedicated concierge service.

The domestic sales prices, including a 5-year service plan package, are 234.7 million KRW for the Range Rover SWB P550e Autobiography and 187.1 million KRW for the Range Rover Sport P550e Dynamic HSE.
