Unlike the existing product, the new product does not use gochujang as a base. Instead, it delivers umami flavor using soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Thicker noodles are applied compared to the existing brand products to better match the liquid sauce and noodles. When eaten hot, the sharp spiciness intensifies, pairing well with meats like samgyeopsal and chadolbagi. When rinsed with water and served cold, it offers a chewy texture and a unique flavor.

Ottogi is introducing the export-only product ‘Bodeulbodeul Cheese Bokkeummyeon Spicy flavor’ to the domestic market. Bodeulbodeul Cheese Bokkeummyeon Spicy flavor is part of Ottogi’s global steady seller ‘Bodeulbodeul’ series and was first launched in the United States in April 2022. Ottogi decided to release this product domestically after noticing an increasing number of consumers purchasing the export-only Bodeulbodeul series overseas or through reverse direct purchase to try the taste. It features a rich and savory cheese flavor combined with a fiery spiciness. The Scoville Heat Unit (SHU), an indicator of spiciness, reaches 4500 SHU. Cheese powder included in the package can be added according to preference at the final cooking stage to adjust the cheese flavor.

Interlicor is launching two types of Sauvignon Blanc from ‘The Marlborist,’ created by a New Zealand Marlborough wine expert. Alpine Lift Sauvignon Blanc is a golden-colored wine that delivers aromas of ripe fresh peach, passion fruit, and pineapple, followed by blackcurrant leaf, white tea, fennel, and white pepper. It pairs well with salads dressed with tangy dressings, oil-based pasta, sushi, and various seafood dishes. Marlborist Grand Sauvignon features the unique elderflower scent and tropical fruit aroma characteristic of New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, while yeast contact and oak aging provide a soft and savory brioche bread scent.
