Connectwave, a specialized e-commerce company, announced on the 8th that its integrated shopping mall management solution, 'PlayAuto,' will officially launch its linkage service with Pavilion, Alibaba.com's B2B (business-to-business) website.
According to Alibaba.com, over 2,550 domestic companies have been supported to enter overseas markets through Alibaba.com's B2B trade platform, achieving approximately 130 billion KRW in export transactions through more than 610,000 sourcing opportunities in 2023.
With the launch of Pavilion, Alibaba.com's dedicated B2B website for Korea, domestic sellers can now more easily enter overseas markets. Overseas B2B buyers who are interested in Korean products can also find and source Korean products more conveniently.
The entry fee for Alibaba.com's Korea Pavilion is $199 per year. This presents a great opportunity for companies wanting to experience global exports, and they can subsequently continue by subscribing to the Standard Membership (GGS). Through PlayAuto, sellers can quickly apply for entry and benefit from convenient product listing support.
By using PlayAuto's linkage service, products registered in Korean are automatically translated into English and registered on Alibaba.com through the Korean translation support feature. Additionally, products sold domestically can be easily transferred and registered from single items to multiple items, enabling efficient product management.
In particular, PlayAuto plans to actively support the expansion of overseas sales for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises by linking with the government's export voucher support project. It supports product registration and translation, online and offline marketing and promotions, customer service (CS), and overseas shipping. Furthermore, PlayAuto will support online and offline exports through its own online platform and sales accounts.
Hyuncheol Lee, Head of Business at Connectwave's PlayAuto, said, "With today's launch of Pavilion, we will further strengthen our collaboration with Alibaba.com," adding, "PlayAuto will do its best to help domestic sellers enter overseas markets."
Meanwhile, PlayAuto currently holds the largest number of client companies among integrated shopping mall management solution platforms. With a single administrator account, it can manage about 300 shopping malls domestically and internationally, including 11st, Coupang, Gmarket, eBay, and Shopee, providing all services necessary for online sales such as product registration, order, and delivery management.
