Fire Causes Vehicle to Cross Center Line and Collide with Oncoming Truck

A man in his 50s died after a fire broke out in his car while driving on a national highway in Cheonan, Chungnam Province.
At around 10:10 a.m. on the 7th, a fire accompanied by an explosion occurred in a passenger car driven by Mr. A (58) on a road in Seobuk-gu, Cheonan.
Due to smoke and other obstructions to visibility, the car crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming truck.
Firefighters responded to the scene after receiving a report and extinguished the fire in about 20 minutes, but Mr. A was found dead inside the vehicle.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on witness statements that an explosion was heard inside the car.
