On the 5th, JTBC's 'Sageonbanjang' introduced the story of Mr. A, who discovered a foreign object in the expensive Dubai chocolate he had struggled to purchase.

Mr. A pre-ordered a box of Dubai chocolate, priced at about 27,000 won, which was divided into 4 packets, at a convenience store on the 5th of last month.

After waiting for a month, Mr. A received the chocolate on the 1st. However, the next day, while eating the chocolate, he found a thin, black foreign object. Upon closer inspection, it was a hair deeply embedded to the point that it could not be pulled out.

Mr. A immediately left an inquiry with a video on the convenience store's website. The customer service representative apologized and responded that they would contact the manufacturing factory.

However, a representative from the manufacturing factory said, "We will only refund the one packet in which the hair was found," and added, "Refunds are not possible unless the chocolate is returned."

Mr. A emphasized, "I have found foreign objects in other foods before, but each time I only received answers that the cause was unknown," and added, "I am reporting this in hopes that if the foreign object issue is broadcast, the overall situation might improve."
