Department of Nursing at Kyungnam College of Information Technology Achieves 5-Year Nursing Education Accreditation for Third Consecutive Time

Ensuring Reliability in the Verification of High-Quality Nursing Education

The Department of Nursing at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology has been awarded a five-year accreditation for its Bachelor of Nursing program for the third consecutive time in the '2024 First Half Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation' organized by the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education.

This accreditation is valid until December 2029.

The nursing education accreditation evaluation is a mandatory assessment that all nursing education institutions in Korea must undergo every five years, in accordance with the Medical Service Act and the Higher Education Act.

The Department of Nursing at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology received excellent evaluations in all areas, including vision and management system, curriculum, facilities and equipment, students, faculty, and educational outcomes.

With this, the department has achieved the remarkable feat of obtaining the 'five-year accreditation,' which signifies that it fully meets the requirements to guarantee the quality of nursing education, for the third consecutive time following previous accreditations in 2014 and 2019.
