Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Promotes Collaboration to Integrate Physical Therapy Department into Four-Year Program

Promises Cooperation and Support for Passage of Four-Year Curriculum Legislation

Lee Yeonseop, President of the Korean Association of Physical Therapy Professors, visited Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, the chair university of the 22nd Council of Junior College Education, to promote the unification of the physical therapy department into a four-year academic system.

The visit, which took place on the 5th, was arranged to enhance the level and quality of education by unifying the academic system into four years, with the goal of strengthening expertise through improvements in the physical therapy curriculum.

Regarding this, President Lee Yeonseop requested full support and cooperation from President Kim Youngdo for the passage of the relevant bill, emphasizing that the collaboration and efforts between the two institutions would serve as a significant turning point for the future of physical therapy education.

Kim Youngdo, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, expressed a deep understanding and sympathy for the development of physical therapy education, stating, "We promise active support for the passage of the bill, and this consultation will make an important contribution to nurturing talent in the field of physical therapy. We will continue to cooperate for the advancement of education in the future."

Lee Yeonseop, President of the Korean Association of Physical Therapy Professors, stressed, "We will continue to work with related institutions to improve the quality of physical therapy education and do our utmost to ensure the successful unification of the academic system."
