Sharing Results and Reviewing Future Responses
Incheon International Airport Corporation held its 100th regular meeting to inspect safety risks, chaired by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
On the 7th, Incheon International Airport Corporation announced that it held the '100th CEO Safety Risk Improvement Meeting' the previous day.
The CEO Safety Risk Improvement Meeting is a regular meeting where the president of the corporation directly presides over the meeting and conducts on-site inspections regarding overall safety matters at Incheon Airport. Since the first meeting in September 2019, this was the 100th session.
During the meeting, the major achievements of the safety risk improvement meetings conducted over the past five years were reviewed, and key safety activities promoted by the corporation and its subsidiaries were also shared.
Through the subsequent safety resolution declaration, attendees pledged to actively participate in the early detection of risk factors and improvement activities to ensure the safety of passengers using Incheon Airport and airport workers.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "Through a total of 100 safety risk meetings, we were able to effectively respond to safety risks across airport operations, including peak seasons, typhoons, and the COVID-19 crisis." He added, "Based on the core value of safety, we plan to strengthen the substance of safety risk meetings and solidify the cooperation system between the corporation and its subsidiaries to provide even safer public airport services."
