At around 11:15 a.m. on the 6th, a fire broke out on a large equipment transport special vehicle working at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Gunsan Shipyard in Bieungdo-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeonbuk, and was extinguished after about 2 hours.
A 151-ton special vehicle and the loaded shelf blocks were burned. The flames did not spread to the factory facilities or other areas.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the extent of the damage and the cause of the fire.
