On the 6th, DK Asia announced through the Incheon City Sports Council that it plans to award 100 million KRW to athletes who win gold medals at the Paris Olympics, and 50 million KRW and 30 million KRW respectively to those who win silver and bronze medals.

The Olympic prize money will also apply to the Summer Olympics held four years later in Los Angeles (LA), USA. The plan is to continuously provide prize money as a form of respect for the sweat and passion of athletes who strive to boost pride in Incheon affiliation and elevate Korea’s national prestige.

This time, three athletes affiliated with Incheon will receive prize money. Jeon Hun-young, who set a great record of 10 consecutive wins by winning the gold medal in the women's team archery event, will receive 100 million KRW; Jeon Eun-hye, who won the silver medal in fencing, will receive 50 million KRW; and Jeong Ye-rin, who earned the bronze medal in judo, will receive 30 million KRW. The prize money will be presented at Incheon City Hall on the 13th.

DK Asia stated that based on its business philosophy of coexistence and mutual growth, it is taking the lead in the development of Incheon and the promotion of public interest. In fact, DK Asia built and donated Handul Elementary School and its affiliated kindergarten in Incheon to nurture local talent, and installed specialized lighting on Baekseok Bridge and Bongsu-daero to enhance Incheon’s urban landscape. It also promoted streetlight replacement, large-scale park development, and street tree planting. Additionally, through Seo-gu Office in Incheon, it actively engages in social contribution activities such as providing monthly meal expenses to dozens of local children’s centers.

Kim Jeong-mo, Chairman of DK Asia, said, "We will continue to carry out social contribution activities in various fields to further enhance the value of the local community and spread positive influence. We will invest generously in the development of local culture and arts so that Incheon citizens can feel pride, and we will strive tirelessly to grow together with the local community to provide a better environment and opportunities for future generations."
