The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting domestic and international investors to participate in the offline one-on-one on-site meet-up, a core program of the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (South Summit Korea),’ until the 23rd of this month.

Hosted by Gyeonggi-do and co-organized by the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency and Spain’s South Summit, the 2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit will be held at the Suwon Convention Center from September 25 to 27.

The agency is seeking domestic and international investors interested in AI and deep tech startup investments. Participating investors will be granted access to the startup investment briefing (IR) materials and various benefits such as exclusive use of the business lounge during the event.

For the one-on-one on-site meet-ups involving domestic and international investors, investors will review the IR materials of participating startups in advance, coordinate schedules with the startups, and conduct the meet-ups on the designated dates.

Im Jong-bin, Head of the Startup Division at the agency, stated, "This summit will serve as a practical business connection platform between investors and startups," and added, "We encourage active participation from domestic and international investors who will build new business models together with startups that have innovative ideas."

Investor recruitment will continue until the 23rd and applications can be submitted online through the official website of the 2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit, themed around AI-centered future strategic industries, will feature deep tech startups from various fields including digital health, future mobility, system semiconductors, robotics, and eco-friendly energy.
