This project aims to attract tourists by dispersing air travel demand through the activation of sea route tourism. Specifically, to assist travel agencies struggling to recruit tourists due to saturated air travel demand, the project includes ▲support for accommodation costs and expansion of the sea route tourism base ▲support for sea route specialized tourists, improvement of sea route tourism awareness ▲promotion and marketing support projects.

The sea route specialized tourist support project provides 30,000 KRW per person for round-trip sea route travel to travelers accompanied by pets, and supports up to 20,000 KRW round-trip for bicycle and motorcycle shipping costs for outdoor tourists. Applications must be made in advance and used by November 29.

In cooperation with regional shipping companies, a ‘Passenger Ship Company Linked Promotion and Marketing Support’ project is also being promoted. Through onboard events and various online and offline promotional activities, efforts are being intensified to promote Jeju sea route tourism.

Additionally, accommodation cost support, which provides up to 3 million KRW per travel agency, is currently closed due to early completion. Detailed support information can be found on the Jeju Tourism Association website and the Jeju Tourism Information blog.

A representative of the Jeju Tourism Association said, “With the peak season approaching, we will strive to enhance the diversity of Jeju tourism and wish for a burden-free and safe trip to Jeju through various incentive support benefits for Jeju sea route tourism.”
