On the 6th, YG Entertainment announced that the '2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL,' held at Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on October 5th and 6th, sold out all seats for both performances as soon as ticket sales began the day before.
The enthusiastic anticipation of fans worldwide for 2NE1 was proven by the number of simultaneous connections. 400,000 people waited and participated in ticket reservations.
In fact, the news of the full 2NE1 reunion concert announced in July sparked a huge response, drawing the spotlight of the music market both domestically and internationally.
Especially, since there were strong voices hoping for a larger venue and additional performances, the competition for tickets was analyzed to be even fiercer. This reflects everyone's memories of 2NE1, fans' long wait for their music, and their steadfast trust.
A YG Entertainment representative said, "We thank the fans for their passionate support and love," adding, "We are preparing the best stage that will be remembered for a long time, just as long as the waiting time, so please look forward to the special moments that 2NE1 and the fans will create together."
Starting with the Seoul performances on October 5th and 6th, 2NE1 will move on to Kobe World Hall in Japan at the end of November and Ariake Arena in Tokyo in early December. They plan to further expand their global tour schedule and connect more closely with audiences through next year.
