iM Securities (formerly Hi Investment & Securities) announced a new beginning for 'iM Securities' by holding an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a vision declaration ceremony for the name change at its Yeouido headquarters on the 6th.
At the vision declaration ceremony, iM Securities presented its new vision, "Better Value, Future Together," and announced the core values the company should pursue: "Customers, Business, Employees," along with the slogan "iM More, iM Fine."
An iM Securities representative explained, "We established 'customer value management,' which means getting closer to customers; 'corporate value management,' which contributes to a better future; and 'employee value management,' which is for a more developed self, as our core values. We combined 'iM More,' meaning that all employees take ownership and do their best, with 'iM Fine,' which signifies qualitative growth and a healthy organization, to create the slogan 'iM More, iM Fine.'"
Since his appointment in March, iM Securities President Sung Mu-yong has been leading the reorganization of the company’s overall business foundation and efficient organizational operation plans to strengthen the "foundation for sustainable growth through management innovation."
Under the leadership of the newly established Strategic Planning Department created after the organizational restructuring, ten major tasks have been set for future innovation, including ▲strengthening synergy finance promotion ▲improving performance reward systems ▲improving selling and administrative expense structures and work efficiency ▲strengthening real estate project financing (PF) management ▲retail innovation plans ▲internal control innovation ▲expanding headquarters sales revenue ▲private investment (PI) and operation innovation ▲personnel system reform ▲and establishing Hi DNA. Thirty detailed projects have been established and are being pursued as specific missions.
Internal control aims to improve systems from the consumer perspective, strengthen the complete sales process, and advance internal control processes to secure customer trust through establishing ethical management and create sound organizational performance while building an invigorating organizational culture. Additionally, strategies for branch efficiency and diversification of sales channels, among other retail innovation plans, will be continuously promoted.
Sung Mu-yong, President of iM Securities, expressed his ambition, saying, “With 35 years of history as Hi Investment & Securities, we are reborn as iM Securities with the determination of all employees. We will faithfully practice the company’s core values of customer value, corporate value, and employee value to build a sustainable 100-year company.”
