Former Lawmaker Ha Tae-kyung Recommended as the Sole Candidate for President of the Insurance Training Institute

Former People Power Party lawmaker Ha Tae-kyung has been nominated as the sole candidate for the 19th president of the Insurance Training Institute.

The Insurance Training Institute President Candidate Recommendation Committee held a meeting on the 6th and recommended former lawmaker Ha as the sole candidate for the 19th president of the Insurance Training Institute. A committee official stated, "Candidate Ha Tae-kyung is the right person to lead the Insurance Training Institute, a specialized educational institution established to cultivate talent necessary for the development of the insurance industry."

The term of current Insurance Training Institute President Min Byung-doo expired at the end of January, but due to delays in appointing a successor, President Min has maintained his position until the end of last month.

Former lawmaker Ha is expected to officially assume the presidency of the Insurance Training Institute next month after approval by the National Assembly Public Officials Ethics Committee on the 26th and the Insurance Training Institute members' general meeting scheduled for the end of this month.
