Hive's 'Weverse Live' Streaming Surpasses 10,000 Sessions... Connecting with 600 Million Fans

HYBE's real-time video streaming service 'weverse LIVE' has surpassed 10,000 streaming sessions. This achievement was reached about two years after its launch in July 2022.

According to HYBE on the 6th, as of the 2nd, the number of weverse LIVE sessions exceeded 10,000. This means that artists on Weverse have communicated with fans through 10,000 live broadcasts.

So far, 141 artist teams have participated in weverse LIVE, representing about 93% of the 152 artist teams on Weverse who have connected with fans through real-time video live streams. The artist who conducted the 10,000th live session was Miyeon of (G)I-DLE.

The artist who held the most weverse LIVE sessions over the past two years is ENHYPEN, meeting fans through a total of 445 weverse LIVE broadcasts. During the past two years, ENHYPEN released 13 albums in Korea and Japan and held 58 world tour shows across more than 10 cities, while frequently conducting weverse LIVE sessions that received great responses from fans.

The individual artist member with the most weverse LIVE sessions is Jihoon of the group TREASURE, who hosted 147 weverse LIVE broadcasts. Jihoon actively communicates with global fans through weverse LIVE, as also reflected in the 'Weverse Fandom Trend' report released late last year, which showed he visited Weverse for 324 consecutive days.

The cumulative global viewership of artists' weverse LIVE sessions has reached approximately 640 million, with a total of 2.3 billion plays. About 90% of viewers are overseas users residing outside of Korea. Fans have sent approximately 820 million chat messages while watching weverse LIVE.

The artist with the highest number of plays is BTS. BTS's weverse LIVE sessions have been played about 1.27 billion times. The single live session with the highest views was the 'Yet To Come in BUSAN' concert held on October 15, 2022.

Choi Junwon, CEO of Weverse Company, said, "We actively listen to the opinions of artists and fandoms to upgrade the weverse joint live function and develop the service according to user demand," adding, "Weverse will continue to evolve as a platform that presents a new fandom culture."
