Beloc, Deep Learning-Based Firewall Solution Supplied to Local Governments

Veloc recently signed a contract to build the next-generation firewall integrated policy management solution ‘PAX (FOCS) 3.0’ equipped with deep learning features for a major domestic financial company, and is expanding its supply to local governments. Veloc announced on the 6th that it signed multiple contracts to build PAX 3.0 with local governments in the first half of this year.

Veloc has been supplying PAX 3.0 mainly to public institutions and succeeded in delivering the solution to local governments based on excellent supply references. Recently, local governments have shown high demand for firewall solutions due to the increased need for data security. Veloc is actively continuing sales activities to meet local government demand and aims to supply PAX 3.0 to more than 200 local governments nationwide.

PAX 3.0 is a solution that automates and integrates all processes required for firewall construction, including policy application, design, implementation, audit, and maintenance. It features deep learning technology for efficient data processing and includes a topology map function that visualizes network structures.

A Veloc official said, “After going public, we have succeeded in diversifying the supply destinations of PAX 3.0 from existing public institutions to financial companies and local governments through continuous solution advancement and expanded sales activities. As the application areas expand, the sales of PAX 3.0 in the first half of this year increased more than sixfold compared to the same period last year.”

He added, “PAX 3.0’s advantage is that it provides a guide to optimize policies by collecting traffic on overly permissive firewall policies (Any) and segmenting them. Supply to local governments will continue in the second half of the year. We are cooperating with various domestic partners to expand the supply of PAX 3.0, and the ultimate goal is to supply it to most local governments nationwide.”

Veloc is developing its AI solution business centered on the artificial intelligence (AI) motion analysis solution ‘i-object’. Recently, it launched a solution development framework to equip the ‘lightweight large language model (sLLM)’ function and is advancing technology related to AI solutions.
