Daum's Paris Olympics special page also surpassed 8 million cumulative visits due to the popularity of the Olympics. This was thanks to the effect of offering various content such as match schedules, results, Olympic Video On Demand (VOD), short-form videos, and cheering corners.

The 'Team Korea' tab recorded 10 million clicks for cheering on the national team. As of the previous day, the athlete who received the most cheers was judoka Kim Ha-yoon, with 500,000 cheers.

Cheering for An Se-young, the women's singles gold medalist in badminton, also exceeded 370,000, and archery team members Kim Woo-jin, Lim Si-hyun, and Jeon Hun-young received more than 330,000 cheers.

The cheering space combined with Daum Cafe's open community 'Table' also played a role in boosting Olympic enthusiasm. For this Olympics, Daum opened 18 sport-specific cheering tables, achieving 6.6 million page views. On each sport-specific table, users can post cheering messages for the national team, photos of athletes' performances, or 'jjal' (image files).

Meanwhile, Daum plans to operate a Paralympic page during the Paris Paralympic Games, which will be held from the 28th of this month to the 8th of next month.
