Homeplus 'Parcel Delivery', New Seller Entry "0% Commission"

Fee Waiver Benefit Applies Until September 30

Homeplus announced on the 6th that it will apply a sales commission waiver benefit to new sellers entering the online 'parcel delivery' channel until the 30th of next month.

Homeplus parcel delivery is a service where individual sellers enter like an online open market and deliver customer-ordered products by parcel delivery, currently offering about 1.3 million products.

The event will be held for two months from the 1st of this month to September 30th. New sellers who enter the Homeplus online mall during this period can enjoy a '0% commission' waiver benefit for 90 days from the date of entry without any separate application process.

Sellers wishing to newly enter must prepare the required entry documents and apply through the Homeplus Partner Center. Once final approval is completed, a 0% sales commission will be automatically applied for 90 days after entry. For other inquiries, use the 'Entry·Partnership' section at the bottom of the Homeplus online mall.

Homeplus supported the expansion of sales channels for competitive small and medium sellers by holding a '0% sales commission' event for new sellers entering the online 'parcel delivery' channel from January 1 to February 29 this year. In fact, the number of newly entered businesses during that period increased about 2.5 times compared to the two months immediately before the promotion started, and the average monthly sales of new sellers also jumped about 3.5 times.

Lee Tae-shin, Executive Vice President and Head of Homeplus Online Business Division, said, “We planned this promotion to reduce the greatest financial burden on new sellers and to create synergy through the recruitment of competitive promising sellers,” adding, “In the future, we plan to explore various support measures for the growth of small business owners, including not only commission waiver benefits but also sales and operation management.”
