Hwang Jung-eum's Agency: "We Will Remain Good Acquaintances"
Actress Hwang Jung-eum and basketball player Kim Jong-kyu broke up just two weeks after confirming their relationship.

They added, "We ask for your understanding as we are unable to provide any further details."
Hwang Jung-eum acknowledged the relationship after a media report on the 22nd of last month about their date, stating, "It is true that I recently developed feelings for a basketball star." During this process, she was sued for defamation after mistakenly identifying an innocent woman as the other woman.
Kim Jong-kyu has been a national team center for 14 years since his college days. He gained recognition by playing in events such as the 2019 Basketball World Cup and the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. He joined Changwon LG in 2013, transferred to Wonju DB Promy in 2019, and renewed his contract for five years this year. The contract period is three years, and it is reported that he will receive a total of 600 million KRW in the first year, including salary and incentives.
