Busan Cultural Foundation Launches ESG Campaign 'Hanseong1918 Eco Family Challenge'

Since July, Zero-Waste Products Given to First 40 Participants

The Busan Cultural Foundation is conducting the ESG campaign "Hansung1918 Eco Family Challenge" for followers of the Hansung1918 Busan Living Culture Center's Instagram account.

The Hansung1918 Busan Living Culture Center, operated by the Busan Cultural Foundation, is a metropolitan living culture center dedicated to improving the quality of life for citizens by supporting living culture clubs, facilitating networking between district living culture centers, and providing opportunities for everyday cultural activities and experiences. It serves as a citizen-oriented hub space that strengthens the cultural capabilities of local residents and revitalizes the nearby original downtown area.


The Busan Cultural Foundation launched the ESG campaign "Hansung1918 Eco Family Challenge" on July 19 to celebrate and thank its SNS followers, which recently surpassed 3,000, for their continued interest in the Hansung1918 Busan Living Culture Center.


The "Hansung1918 Eco Family Challenge" is a campaign aimed at achieving significant change through small actions. It embodies the meaning of practicing eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyles ("Eco") and strengthening the sense of community among followers ("Family").


To participate in the "Hansung1918 Eco Family Challenge" event, followers of the Hansung1918 Busan Living Culture Center Instagram account can take a photo certifying their own daily climate change response challenge, send it via message, and leave a comment such as "Participation complete" or a message of encouragement on the relevant post. The first 40 participants will be individually contacted and given a vegan shampoo bar and wool ball as a gift.


Lee Miyeon, CEO of the Busan Cultural Foundation, stated, "We will strive to further expand opportunities for Busan citizens to enjoy culture in their daily lives through the Hansung1918 Busan Living Culture Center."
