Changwon Facilities Corporation Establishes 'Automatic Emergency Vehicle Entry and Exit System'

Two Public Parking Lots Introduced on Trial Basis
Securing Golden Time in Various Accidents

Changwon Facilities Management Corporation in Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that it has established an 'Automatic Emergency Vehicle Entry and Exit System' to respond quickly and safely to accidents that may occur in parking lots.

Changwon Facilities Corporation Establishes 'Automatic Emergency Vehicle Entry and Exit System' Vehicle Entry Barrier Authentication Sticker.

The automatic emergency vehicle entry and exit system is an automated system that allows barriers to open automatically when vehicles requiring emergency access, such as police cars and fire trucks, enter, enabling rapid rescue and emergency activities.

The unmanned barrier function has been improved so that emergency vehicles can pass through by assigning dedicated numbers 998 and 999 to the first three digits of emergency vehicle license plates, allowing the system to recognize these special plates.

The corporation has completed the installation of the system at two locations: the Changwon Intercity Bus Terminal public parking lot and the Sapa Complex Public Parking Lot, and has begun promoting the system by attaching certification stickers to the vehicle entry barriers.

According to the corporation, the system was introduced to respond quickly to fires and various safety accidents in parking lots caused by the rapid increase in eco-friendly vehicles such as electric cars.

Chairman Kim Jonghae said, "We expect that the introduction of this automatic emergency vehicle entry and exit system will enable a rapid response in emergency situations," adding, "We will continue to expand the implementation of this system to ensure the safety and lives of citizens."
