The Department of Computer Software at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) held a completion ceremony for the "AIoT Application Service Development Course" on July 25.
On July 25, a commemorative photo was taken after the completion ceremony of the 'AIoT Application Service Development Course' in Room 705 of the Future Hall at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology.
The "AIoT Application Service Development Course" is a comprehensive AI education program organized by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency as part of the ICT Innovation Square Digital New Technology Education. The course was hosted by the Department of Computer Software at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology and was conducted for students of the department.
Students who participated in this program completed courses in digital humanities and basic Python, and as part of the "AIoT Application Service Development Course," obtained the NVIDIA DLI (Deep Learning Institute) official certification in basic deep learning. On the day of the ceremony, they also received a certificate of completion issued by the director of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency. In particular, the NVIDIA certification obtained this time is expected to be a significant stepping stone for students in pursuing various career paths, including employment.
Since the 2021 academic year, the Department of Computer Software at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has participated in the ICT Innovation Square project organized by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, providing students with opportunities to complete AI education and gain various experiences and opportunities to learn more about AI in depth.
Jang Yunji, a first-year student in the Department of Computer Software, said, "Through this training, I learned about various specialized fields such as AI and AIoT. I plan to actively participate in upcoming competitions by applying what I have learned from this course."
Heo Bongsik, head of the Department of Computer Software, stated, "Since 2021, we have been participating in the ICT Innovation Square project to provide students with diverse experiences and opportunities. We will continue to offer various opportunities so that students can gain more experience in IT and AI."
The Department of Computer Software at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was established in March 1983 and has produced numerous talents in the IT field over the past 40 years. The department aims to nurture skilled software development professionals in the smart IT industry, including web, mobile apps, databases, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and cloud computing.
