Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that it held the regular council members' meeting for August.
This regular meeting was attended by about 20 people, including county council members and related public officials. Department heads explained key county administrative matters such as the establishment of the Hapcheon-gun Talent Development Foundation and the promotion of the Agricultural Products Safety Analysis Laboratory Operation Project. The participants also discussed various aspects of legislative activities.
In addition, Council Chairperson Jeong Bonghun requested that, as this is a difficult economic period due to falling cattle prices and rising price indices, many projects that can provide practical help to residents be promoted, and that special attention be paid to preventing safety accidents caused by natural disasters during the summer.
Meanwhile, Hapcheon County Council plans to hold its 284th temporary session for nine days from September 2 to September 10 to deliberate and decide on various agenda items, including the 2nd supplementary budget bill, public property management plans, agreements, and ordinances.
