NH Investment & Securities announced on the 5th that it has enhanced the features of the installment investment service 'Stock Accumulation' on its mobile platform Namu Securities. Reflecting customer demand, the service will expand customer touchpoints by offering commission-free trading and hosting events related to the Choi Gang Baseball.
Stock Accumulation is a service that allows customers to invest in domestic and overseas stocks on an installment basis by setting a desired amount and frequency. Domestic stocks can be invested from as little as 100 KRW, and overseas stocks from a minimum of 1,000 KRW, allowing customers to invest according to their investment plans with their preferred amount and frequency.
With this service upgrade, the tradable accounts have been expanded to include the brokerage-type Individual Savings Account (ISA), enabling Stock Accumulation for these accounts as well. Additionally, the service now provides filtering options for stocks available per account, improving trading convenience.
To celebrate the upgrade of the Stock Accumulation service, Namu Securities will offer commission-free trading and preferential foreign exchange rates until the end of this year. Existing and new customers holding Namu Securities accounts will receive free commission on all stock purchase orders placed through the Stock Accumulation (installment) service, regardless of whether the stocks are domestic or overseas, whole shares (1 share), or fractional shares. Furthermore, the preferential foreign exchange rates, previously applied only to fractional share transactions for overseas stock trading, will now be extended to both whole share (1 share) and fractional share transactions. In addition, NH Investment & Securities will introduce a Stock Accumulation event utilizing the Choi Gang Baseball brand, for which it is the main sponsor. If the Choi Gang Baseball team wins the championship, 1 million KRW will be credited; for a home run, 2 million KRW will be credited; and for every 5,000 Stock Accumulation subscriptions surpassed, an additional 5 million KRW will be credited. Customers who maintain their Stock Accumulation subscriptions until the end of the Choi Gang Baseball season will receive the total accumulated credited amount distributed proportionally according to the number of subscriptions (accumulated stocks).
