On the 4th, A, a self-employed person, began by saying on an online community, "My financial situation is relatively better than my peers, and I am self-made with a house under my name in my mid-30s."

A explained, "I wanted to marry someone I liked, so I married a beautiful wife who is two years younger than me. From the first time we met, she was a YOLO (You Only Live Once) type who valued living in the moment. She had no savings at all, and I paid for almost all the dates during our relationship, but I liked her a lot and persuaded her to marry me even though she initially had no intention of getting married."

According to A, he arranged the newlywed home himself, and all the appliances and furniture in the house were new, so his wife literally just 'moved in.' Despite this, A had no complaints, but due to his wife's lack of support in managing the household, he regrets marrying her after just one year of marriage.

A said, "Of course, I know it's not right to expect traditional spousal support these days, but my friends say that if the wife is the only one earning, she usually prepares breakfast or dinner well." He lamented, "I give her 4 million won monthly for living expenses, but half the month she eats out, and in the mornings when she is still sleeping, I heat up instant meals and go to work." He added, "Recently, when we were planning to move to a better area, my wife asked, 'Next time we move, let's make the house jointly owned.' I was caught off guard and just brushed it off. I thought marriage was about being with someone you love, but lately, I regret it a bit. I feel it might be better to be with someone who loves me and treat me well."
