Daekyo announced on the 5th that it has registered a patent for an interactive Korean language learning service utilizing an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot.
The AI chatbot-based Korean language learning service, for which the patent was registered, is a technology that analyzes user queries and automatically generates appropriate responses. Learners can improve their literacy skills through interactive learning. Since multiple learners can receive effective education simultaneously, it also enhances the equity of educational opportunities.
Through this patent registration, Daekyo plans to provide learners with more efficient and personalized learning experiences in line with the digital education era and continue to innovate in the field of Korean language education.
Daekyo has previously developed various educational solutions utilizing AI technology. A representative example is the patent for the Korean Reading Comprehension Index (KReaD), which is the first in Korea to measure the difficulty of texts and the learner’s reading ability level using AI. This index is regarded as a groundbreaking tool that precisely analyzes learners’ reading abilities and helps establish personalized learning plans.
A Daekyo official stated, “The Korean language learning service using an AI chatbot is an innovative method to enhance the learning efficiency of each individual learner,” adding, “We will continue to take the lead in providing the best educational services to learners domestically and internationally through the convergence of AI and education.”
