Dobong-gu Supports Three Types of Safe Home Sets Including Smart Doorbells for Single-Person Households

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is providing Safety Home Sets to vulnerable groups such as single-person households and single-parent families. The Safety Home Set consists of three items: a smart doorbell, a home CCTV, and a front door safety device.

The smart doorbell has a feature that allows real-time monitoring of the front door situation via a mobile phone. The home CCTV not only enables real-time monitoring of the interior of the house through a mobile phone but also includes motion and sound detection functions and two-way communication capabilities. The front door safety device is equipped with a double locking mechanism that prevents the door from being opened from the outside.

The support targets are single-person households and single-parent families residing in Dobong-gu. Applications are possible for single-person households in Dobong-gu based on the resident registration certificate. A total of 35 households will be supported.

The application period is until August 9. The final recipients will be selected through a selection review committee. Priority will be given to housing type and experience of crime victimization during selection. The results will be notified individually after August 20.

Applications can be submitted by downloading and filling out the application form from the Dobong-gu or Dobong-gu Family Center websites and then sending it via email to the Dobong-gu Family Center.

For households at risk of stalking crimes, in addition to the Safety Home Set, a voice recognition wireless bell will be provided. The voice recognition wireless bell recognizes specific words such as "Help me" or "Save me" during emergencies and transmits the alert to a control center staffed by police officers.

The support targets are single-person households in Dobong-gu based on the resident registration certificate, who have a history of stalking crime reports or processing at the Dobong-gu Police Station. A total of 10 households will be supported.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “We have joined forces with local related organizations such as the Dobong-gu Family Center (Dobong-gu Single-Person Household Support Center) and Dobong Police Station to support the single-person household safety equipment project. We will continue to ensure that all residents, including single-person households, can live safely within the community based on strong cooperation.”
