Over 300 Graduates in 3 Years... "Education Improvement and Employment Opportunities"
LG Electronics announced on the 4th that it held the graduation ceremony for the 'Cambodia LG-Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Hope Vocational Training School' in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the 30th of last month.

The Hope Vocational Training School is a youth technical education institution established by LG in cooperation with KOICA in countries such as Cambodia and Ethiopia.
In Cambodia, since 2021, three vocational training schools located in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and other areas have been operating specialized courses related to electronics, electrical, and information and communication technology (ICT).
Over the past three years until last year, more than 300 graduates have been produced. The majority of graduates have advanced to related fields for further education, employment, or entrepreneurship.
At the graduation ceremony, female electronics graduate Saeng Sovanampo said, "Electronics was a field that was not easy for female students to enter," adding, "At the Hope Vocational Training School, I acquired skills and expertise, overcame gender barriers, and am currently employed at a refrigeration equipment company."
Yoon Dae-sik, Executive Vice President of External Cooperation at LG Electronics, said, "We plan to promote the sincerity of 'Life's Good,' which means continuing bold challenges with an optimistic attitude toward life," and added, "We will continue to strive so that young people around the world can nurture their dreams and become healthy and independent."
