President Yoon Suk-yeol sent a message of support and encouragement on the 4th to celebrate archer Lim Si-hyun's triple gold medal victory at the Paris Olympics.

In a Facebook message that day, President Yoon said, "Congratulations to Lim on winning three gold medals," adding, "With the women's team securing their 10th consecutive victory, and gold medals in the mixed team event yesterday and the individual event today, Lim consistently demonstrated the true prowess of the world's strongest archer with overwhelming performance."

He continued, "I also extend my encouragement to the youngest player Nam Su-hyun, who won the silver medal, and the eldest sister Jeon Hun-young, who gave her best until the very last shot," and praised the athletes by saying, "It was truly proud to see them competing with good sportsmanship at the top of the world."

President Yoon added, "The sweat and tears of the athletes represent South Korea's struggle and pride toward the pinnacle of the world," and said, "Together with the people, I wholeheartedly support the national athletes who are fiercely competing even at this moment."

Lim Si-hyun is the second archer to win three gold medals at the Olympics since the mixed team event was first introduced at the 2021 Tokyo Games, following An San (Gwangju Bank).
