At around 8:46 a.m. on the 3rd, a chain collision occurred at Munsan Intersection in Samgok-ri, Munsan-eup, Jinju, Gyeongnam Province.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Department, the first accident happened when an SUV driven by a man in his 50s, identified as A, collided with a 1-ton truck driven by a man in his 60s, identified as B.

Due to the impact, B's truck crashed into a roadside tree, and A's SUV collided with another SUV driven by a man in his 50s, identified as C, resulting in a secondary accident.

As a result of the accident, SUV driver A sustained serious injuries to his face and both knees.

Truck driver B, SUV driver C from the secondary collision, and a man in his 50s identified as D, who was a passenger, suffered minor injuries.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
