Finals at Imrang Beach on the 24th... Grand Prize 2 Million Won
Gijang-gun, Busan (Governor Jung Jongbok) is accepting applications for participants in the 'Gijang Imrang Summer Music Festival 2024 Children's Song Contest' until the 11th.
The Children's Song Contest will be held as part of the county's representative summer festival, the 'Gijang Imrang Summer Music Festival (8.24~8.25)'. This year, the finals will take place on August 24 on a special stage at Imrang Beach.
The festival will feature passionate competitions among elementary school choirs from across the country, as well as a variety of celebratory performances, creating an event for families and neighbors to enjoy together.
Applications for solo preliminary rounds will be accepted until 6:00 PM on August 5, and for choir preliminary rounds until midnight on August 11. The contest is open to students in grades 1 to 6 of elementary schools nationwide. To apply, participants must submit an application form along with videos of two songs of their choice via email.
After an internal screening, around 12 teams will be selected to advance to the finals on the 24th. The winning teams will receive a total prize of 5.4 million KRW, including a grand prize of 2 million KRW.
Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, said, "This children's song contest is a festival led by children as the main protagonists," and added, "I hope many children participate, showcase the results of their hard work, and create joyful memories with their families."
