Among South Korea's national representatives, fencer Oh Sang-wook (27, Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall) has become the center of attention. Standing tall at 192cm with long arms, Oh gives off a model-like impression and captivates female fans with his handsome appearance, earning him the nickname "Flower Boy Fencer." On the 28th of last month (Korean time), at the Grand Palais in Paris, France, he won the gold medal in the men's sabre individual final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking the first-ever gold medal for South Korea in the men's sabre individual event. Alicia Schmidt (26) is a German track and field star with 5.16 million Instagram followers. Standing 175cm tall with a well-proportioned figure, she is known as "the sexiest athlete in the world." Her beautiful physique and appearance have drawn attention, and she also works as a model alongside her athletic career. Although she was named to the mixed 4x400m relay team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she did not actually compete. The Paris Olympics mark her first Olympic appearance.


Among Chinese athletes, Sha Xining (21), known as the "Goddess of Beauty" and a "genius hurdler," is gaining attention. Thanks to her outstanding looks, Sha has over 3 million followers on Douyin (Chinese TikTok).


Sha emerged as a promising athlete by winning the women's 100m hurdles at the 2nd National Youth Championships in China in March 2019. In July last year, she won the women's 100m hurdles at the National Athletics Championships, and in May this year, she set her personal best by winning the National Athletics Grand Prix with a time of 13.08 seconds. Before becoming an athlete, she was a versatile talent with a strong interest in the arts during her childhood, learning piano, violin, and traditional dance.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) of Hong Kong released a list last month naming the "Top 10 Hottest Athletes at the Paris Olympics," which included Ukrainian judo athlete Daria Bilodid, Japanese surfer Matsuda Shino, German track and field athlete Alicia Schmidt, American track and field athlete Gabby Thomas, and Japanese breaking athlete Yuasa Ami.


Daria Bilodid (24) is a Ukrainian judo athlete who was the 2019 World Judo Championships women's 48kg champion and a bronze medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Standing 172cm tall with a slender figure, Bilodid is loved by judo fans worldwide for her beautiful appearance.


Gabby Thomas (28) is a prodigy who majored in neurobiology and health policy at Harvard University and is currently studying epidemiology and health management at the University of Texas at Austin. Nicknamed "the fastest biologist in the world," Thomas won a bronze medal in the 200m and a silver medal in the 400m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.


Additionally, Sweden's Armand Duplantis (24), the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion in men's pole vault, and the United States' Noah Lyles (26), a favorite for gold in the men's 100m and 200m, are also Olympic athletes who combine looks and skills, attracting global attention.
