'Beer Night Festa' to Beat the Heat Draws Over 5,000 Visitors

Special Events Include 'Street Dance Youngs Fighter' and 'Noisy Magic Night'

The '2024 Pohang Jungang Shopping District Yeongilmanchingu Night Market', which opened on the 6th, is drawing many visitors and revitalizing the local alleyway economy.

The event venue on the 20th when the Beer Night Festa was held.

In particular, during the 'Beer Night Festa' held on the 20th and 27th, about 5,000 visitors flocked to the Yeongilmanchingu Night Market, making the event a great success.

Citizens who visited the venue to escape the scorching heat enjoyed a variety of events such as exciting performances, a beer-drinking contest, and an impromptu singing contest, making the most of the summer night.

Around 50 tables were set up in front of the stage, where citizens cooled off from the heat by enjoying a variety of night market foods along with cold beer.

The Jungang Shopping District Night Market plans to host special performances such as Street Dance Youngs Fighter on August 3 and Wackjageokkeol Magic Night on August 10. The market will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Jungang Shopping District Silgaecheon Street until August 11.

After that, until the end of September, the Jungang Shopping District Merchants Association will operate the night market independently.
