Sacheon City Council Hosts Lecture by Research Group 'Choseonhoe'

Invited Expert Lecture ... Learning from the History of Toulouse, France for the Development of an Aerospace Complex City

The 'Choseonhoe', a research group of council members from Sacheon City Council in Gyeongnam, announced that they held a special lecture inviting an expert in the small conference room on the second floor of the city council on the 30th, aiming to establish the city as a hub for the aerospace industry.

The lecture was held under the theme "Learning from the History of Toulouse, France for the Development of Sacheon as an Aerospace Complex City," with Professor Lee Chunwoo from the Department of French Language and Literature at Gyeongsang National University invited as the speaker.

On this day, Professor Lee Chunwoo introduced various cases regarding the history and culture of Toulouse, France, as well as the development process and success factors of the aerospace industry.

In particular, the members of Choseonhoe exchanged diverse opinions on the direction and strategies for developing into an aerospace complex city, engaging in in-depth discussions about the future direction and specific measures for Sacheon.

This special lecture was organized because it is necessary for Sacheon to examine the development and culture of the aerospace industry in Toulouse, France, which serves as a hub for the European aerospace industry, in order to establish itself as a leading aerospace complex city.

Council member Jin Baekeun said, "We will continue to benchmark successful development models by studying exemplary cases of the aerospace industry both domestically and internationally," adding, "We will continue our legislative activities with the goal of growing into an autonomous and sustainable aerospace industry city."
