Naver's paid subscription service 'Naver Plus Membership' is conducting a pilot operation (CBT) of the 'Super Accumulation' promotion, which offers members up to an additional 10% accumulation on top of the existing points.
According to Naver on the 31st, this promotion will run for three months until October 31. When Naver Plus Membership members purchase products tagged with Super Accumulation, they will receive an additional accumulation benefit of up to 10% of the payment amount, in addition to the existing maximum 5% accumulation of Naver Pay points.
Existing Naver Plus Membership members receive up to 5% Naver Pay points accumulation, including a basic 1% purchase accumulation and an additional 4% accumulation on monthly payments up to 200,000 KRW. For payment amounts from 200,000 KRW to 3,000,000 KRW, an additional 1% accumulation is provided on top of the basic 1% purchase accumulation.
During this promotion period, Naver Plus Membership members can enjoy up to 15% accumulation benefits. For example, if a membership member purchases a Super Accumulation product priced at 100,000 KRW, they will accumulate 5,000 KRW in Naver Pay points from the existing 5% accumulation benefit, plus an additional 10,000 KRW from the Super Accumulation maximum 10% benefit, totaling 15,000 KRW in points.
Notably, unlike existing membership benefits, the Super Accumulation benefit has no accumulation limit. However, amounts paid with Naver Pay points, additional charges for option products at the time of order, and amounts paid using coupons are excluded from the maximum 10% Super Accumulation eligible amount.
Jung Hanna, the Naver leader in charge of Naver Plus Membership, said, "As a result of expanding partnerships with various partners centered on the core identity of Naver Plus Membership’s maximum 5% accumulation benefit, the retention rate of paid membership subscriptions has reached 95%." She added, "Through this Super Accumulation promotion, we plan to reward our loyal membership members with greater accumulation benefits and further advance the Naver Plus Membership ecosystem."
