Fire Authorities "Always Be Cautious of Bird Situations"

A couple was swept away by waves and died while taking commemorative photos on a beach in California, USA.

Local fire authorities stated, "When we arrived at the scene, we found the two people floating face down on the water." They added, "We immediately started life support measures while taking them onto the boat and heading to the harbor, but despite continuous resuscitation efforts, both people died." Furthermore, it was revealed that Lopez was pregnant at the time, adding to the tragedy.

The fire department said this area is called the "Rock of Death" due to rapidly changing and violent currents. They also warned, "Do not turn your back to the sea and always be cautious of the current situation," adding, "During high tide, waves can suddenly rush in, startling unprepared people."

This is not the first case of death while taking commemorative photos. Anvi Kamdar (26), an Indian travel influencer with 310,000 followers, lost her balance and slipped while filming Instagram reels at Kumbh Falls in western Maharashtra on the morning of the 17th, falling down a 300-foot (about 91m) gorge. Rescue teams dispatched after receiving a report faced difficulties due to heavy rain and rough terrain. After about six hours, the rescue team pulled Kamdar from the deep gorge and transported her to the hospital, but she ultimately passed away.

Additionally, on the 7th, a Spanish tourist died in South Africa after being trampled by an elephant during a safari tour. The tourist reportedly got out of the vehicle to take photos of the elephant herd and was trampled to death.
